Shipping Policy

TINY HOMES PRIVATE LTD ("we," "us," or "our") ensures a streamlined global shipping experience for our custom-built homes. By purchasing, you agree to these terms.
1. Free DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) Shipping
Incoterms 2020: We handle all costs under DDP, including:
Sea/land freight.
Customs clearance, duties, and taxes.
Trucking to your specified address.
Customer Costs: Crane rental, site preparation, or local permits.
2. Production & Shipping Timelines
2.1 Order Processing
Order Processing typically takes 3 business days. During this stage, the company performs fraud checks and coordinates logistics to ensure a smooth transition to production.
2.2 Production
The Production phase generally requires 2–3 weeks to complete. Customizations or special requests may extend this timeline, depending on the complexity of the requirements.
2.3 Sea Freight Shipping
Sea Freight Shipping involves 3–7 weeks of transit time, covering port-to-port delivery. Factors like route availability and weather conditions can influence this duration.
2.4 Total Estimated Time
The entire process, from payment confirmation to final delivery, is estimated to take 5–10 weeks. This includes all stages: Order Processing, Production, and Sea Freight Shipping.
Note: Timelines are approximate and subject to change. For further details, refer to section 3.
3. Delays Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for delays caused by:
Force Majeure: Pandemics, wars, natural disasters, or strikes.
Logistical Issues: Port congestion, customs inspections, or carrier delays.
Weather: Storms, hurricanes, or extreme conditions.
Communication: We will notify you of delays within 48 hours and provide revised timelines.
4. Delivery & Unloading
4.1 Delivery Requirements
Site Readiness: Ensure the delivery site is accessible (e.g., cleared roads, no overhead obstructions).
Unloading: You must arrange a certified crane operator and equipment. We are not liable for damage caused by improper handling.
4.2 Inspection
Upon Delivery: Inspect the product immediately. Report visible damage within 48 hours via email with photos/videos.
5. Tracking & Updates
Production Updates: Weekly emails with photos/videos and inspection reports.
Shipping Tracking: A tracking link will be shared once your home departs our facility.
6. Failed Deliveries & Storage
Redelivery Fees: If delivery fails due to site inaccessibility or customer unavailability, the customer will be responsible for any storage or redelivery fees.
Storage Limits: Unclaimed units may be sold after 90 days to recover costs (see our Terms & Conditions).
7. Damaged or Lost Shipments
Insurance: All shipments are insured. For damage/loss:
Notify us within 48 hours of delivery (or estimated arrival date for lost shipments).
Provide evidence (photos/videos, police reports).
We will repair, replace, or refund per our Refund Policy.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes resolved per our Terms & Conditions.
