Refund Policy

At TINY HOMES PRIVATE LTD ("we," "us," or "our"), we strive to deliver exceptional custom-built homes while ensuring fairness to both customers and our business. This policy outlines refund eligibility, processes, and your statutory rights.

1. Refunds & Cancellations

Custom Orders:
As each home is custom-made to your specifications, the statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply. By placing your order, you confirm this product is personalized and cannot be resold, waiving your right to cancel under Regulation 28(1)(b).

Cancellation Window:
You may cancel within 48 hours of payment for a refund, minus:

  • Transaction fees (e.g., payment processing costs).

  • Material costs already incurred (e.g., steel cut to size, insulation ordered), calculated based on actual expenses.

After 48 hours, cancellation is no longer possible as irreversible production begins.

Defective Products (Consumer Rights Act 2015):
If your home has defects affecting usability, safety, or compliance with agreed specifications:

  • Within 30 days of delivery: Request a full refund, replacement, or repair.

  • After 30 days but within 1 year: We will repair the home. If this is impossible, we will issue a refund proportionate to the defect.

Latent Defects:
Hidden defects discovered after 30 days are covered under our 1-year warranty. This warranty does not limit your statutory rights under the CRA 2015.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Undelivered Products

2.1 Defects or Shipping Damage

  • Reporting: Notify us within 30 days of delivery with photos/videos of the issue.

  • Resolution: We will:

    • Repair or replace defective parts.

    • Issue a full or partial refund for irreparable damage (e.g., structural flaws caused during manufacturing).

2.2 Non-Delivery

  • If your order is undelivered due to our error, we will:

    • Reship at no cost.

    • Offer a full refund if reshipment is impossible.

2.3 Delays Beyond Our Control

  • Force Majeure: No refunds for delays caused by customs, weather, pandemics, or logistics disruptions.

3. Refund Process

  • Timeline: Processed within 14 business days of approval.

  • Method: Issued to the original payment account. Bank processing times may apply.
