Payment Policy

At TINY HOMES PRIVATE LTD ("we," "us," or "our"), we prioritize secure and transparent transactions. This policy governs payments for purchases made on nicetinyhomes.com (the "Website").
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept:
Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express (processed securely via Stripe).
PayPal: For fast, verified payments.
Bank Transfers: Wire transfers to our business account.
Security:
All transactions use SSL encryption and comply with PCI DSS standards.
Payment data is never stored on our servers.
2. Payment Processing
Order Confirmation: Orders are binding only after we receive full payment and send a written confirmation email (includes invoice and estimated timelines).
Production Start: Manufacturing begins 3 business days post-payment to allow for fraud checks.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Custom Orders:
As each home is custom-made to your specifications, the statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply. By placing your order, you confirm this product is personalized and cannot be resold, waiving your right to cancel under Regulation 28(1)(b).
Cancellation Window:
You may cancel within 48 hours of payment for a refund, minus:
Transaction fees (e.g., payment processing costs).
Material costs already incurred (e.g., steel cut to size, insulation ordered), calculated based on actual expenses.
After 48 hours, cancellation is no longer possible as irreversible production begins.
Defective Products (Consumer Rights Act 2015):
If your home has defects affecting usability, safety, or compliance with agreed specifications:
Within 30 days of delivery: Request a full refund, replacement, or repair.
After 30 days but within 1 year: We will repair the home. If this is impossible, we will issue a refund proportionate to the defect.
Latent Defects:
Hidden defects discovered after 30 days are covered under our 1-year warranty. This warranty does not limit your statutory rights under the CRA 2015.
4. Currency & International Payments
Primary Currency: British Pound Sterling (£ GBP)
Exchange Rates: International customers bear any fees or fluctuations from their bank/payment provider.
5. Fraud Prevention
We reserve the right to:
Request ID verification (e.g., passport, utility bill) for high-value orders.
Cancel orders if fraud is suspected (reported to authorities if required).
6. Disputes & Chargebacks
Contact Us First: Resolve issues informally within 14 days before initiating a chargeback.
Unfounded Chargebacks: May result in legal action or referral to credit agencies.
7. Updates
Changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
